PPG has become the naming right partner for this weekend's fourth round of the 2015 V8 Supercars Championship to be held at Winton. PPG logos have featured on the front and rear of the No 17 Falcon at all races so far this year, but take high profile signage for Winton.

The announcement continues to showcase the synergy that the Australian based V8 Supercars team shares with its USA-based Team Penske NASCAR and INDYCAR programs. PPG has been an associate sponsor to Team Penske for over 30 years, and has seen beneficial technical alliances develop with both the USA and Australian teams.

'PPG has enjoyed the unique on track experience we have been able to offer key customers at V8 Supercars events so farthis year."said PPG spokesperson Paul Galea."This weekend we will see the PPG brand in a more prominent position on Scott Pye's DJR Team Penske Falcon."

In addition to PPG, making a return to DJR Team Penske is World Leader in Air Conditioning Technology, Daikin. At the Sydney 500 in 2014, Daikin featured prominently on the Xbox N0. 66 entry. It is the first time Daikin has featured on the DJR Team Penske entry in 2015.

"Daikin Air Conditioners is very proud to be partnered with DJR Team Penske for the upcoming Winton event" Daikin National Marketing Manager, Dan Tosh said "Daikin and DJR Team Penske have forged a relationship both on and off the track with branding at this weekend's round at Winton and Marcos Ambrose's wildcard entry for the Sydney 500." DJR Team Penske have also benefited from Daikin's efficient air conditioners and leading solutions provider Cool Air Conditioning's expertise and their recent race shop facility upgrade.

The PPG / Daikin Falcon FG X will be on track on Friday for the first practice sessions with Scott Pye at the wheel.
