2011 Bathurst winner Nick Percat has recorded the top time in the pre-race warm-up session at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.
Percat recorded a 2min07.1559 lap late in the session to knock off Michael Caruso's Nissan in second.
The Scott Pye/Marcos Ambrose combination that sat at the top of the times for the majority of the 20-minute session ended third, with Luke Youlden (paired with Fabian Coulthard) fourth and Mark Winterbottom completing the top five.
The session ran smoothly as teams took the last opportunity to run the cars before today's mammoth motor race.
Percat and Oliver Gavin in the Repair Management Australia Racing Commodore qualified 21st for the race.
David Reynolds/Dean Canto and Scott McLaughlin/Alex Premat stat on the front row this morning, with the race kicking off at 11am AEDT.
