Team BOC's Jason Bright has qualified on ARMOR ALL Pole Position for the first race of the afternoon, with Team HIFLEX's Tony D'Alberto alongside, at Winton Raceway in Victoria.

Bright finished third in yesterday's race and is currently tied on points for fifth in the V8 Supercars Championship, with teammate Fabian Coulthard.

Cars are on the grid completing the warm up lap.

Action off the start – great jump from Mark Winterbottom, into first ahead of Bright. Car 34 off the track, rejoins and there's a massive accident. Whincup, Alex Davison, and Russell Ingall invovled. Safety Car as Ingall's car is towed. Whincup's car looks as if all four wheels jumped off the ground.

Caruso, who was second yesterday, also in the garage with broken lower control arm in the rear suspension. After Premat's rejoin, he said he was stuck on the outside and Tander tagged the back of him, though wasn't sure Tander could see him.

"Unfortunately 19th in the next one... such a changing Championshp."

Bright - "I fluffed the start completely... once I caught him I didn't have much to pass him."

"Fantastic - would've liked first!" Courtney.

D'Alberto - "It's really cool to be racing against them and giving them a bit of a hurry up at the time. I would've done anything for James to have stayed behind me – and I mean anything!"
