The final race of the Chill Perth 360 is about to kick off. Whincup – who won the earlier race today – starts from pole, with teammate Craig Lowndes alongside. Filling the second row are Mark Winterbottom and Fabian Coulthard.

There's an oil slick on the right side of the track – from the V8 Utes which ran before – so those starting on the inside may have an advantage.

Cars are out on their warm up lap.

Winterbottom has taken second position off Lowndes after the start, and Engel is off the track.

It's Whincup, Winterbottom, Lowndes, McLaughlin, Will Davison at the end of L1.

L4 Premat and Todd Kelly get together, Kelly has a popped tyre and both went very close to the wall.

L5 Bright has some work to do to come from 12th - up to ninth already.

L7 Kelly and Premat incident under investigation. Engel in the Erebus garage.

L7 the top five remains - making up the top 10 are Coulthard (6), Reynolds, Bright, Alex Davison, Van Gisbergen. Mostert close behind in 11th.

L9 and Whincup recorded the fastest time on the last lap – 57.4658sec.

L10 Two Norton cars round up Holdsworth for 16 (Moffat) and 17 (Caruso). Holdsworth is the only Erebus Merecedes on track, with Slade and Engel both in the garage.

L12 Tander started 23rd and is now up to 15th.

L13 McLaughlin putting pressure on Will Davison for fourth.

L14 Slade coming back out. Whincup has a margin of 1.6767sec.

L15 Race leader off the road at T7. Winterbottom off as well. Lowndes now in the lead.

Whincup now in 6th, Winterbottom 9th. Top five is Lowndes, Will Davison, McLaughlin, Coulthard, Bright.

Both Whincup and Winterbottom in the pits. Whincup out cleanly, problems for Winterbottom. Lost a lot of time.

L18 Will Davison in for tyres.

Looks as if Engel's car dropped coolant on the track and the leaders were the next to go through the last turn.

Safety car is out – lap 19.

Caruso's off at the back of the circuit.

L21 – halfway – and the order's Lowndes, Whincup, Will Davison, Bright, McLaughlin, Reynolds, Van Gisbergen, Moffat, Coulthard, Tander.

We're still under Safety Car.

Some cars having to double stack in the pits. Coulthard's had a problem in the pits and Alex Davison has had to wait in the pit, for Van Gisbergen to drive through the pit bay. Davison a big loser, now popping out in 18th.

Moffat up to 8th with a green set of tyres.

Restart on lap 25. No change at the front.

Bright looks quick on the back of Will Davison. Fast first sector for Lowndes.

Lowndes the first in the 56s for the race. And again on lap 26, he drops that by a tenth of a second.

L27 Davison wide and McLaughlin goes through for fourth. McLaughlin has lost a door skin. Will back through and Reynolds takes advantage.

Safety Car L28. Ingall and Wall bogged in the sand.

Behind the SC we have Lowndes, Whincup, Bright, Will Davison, Reynolds, Van Gisbergen, McLaughlin, Coulthard, Tander, Moffat.

Safety Car lights out at the end of L31.

Lowndes loses the lead straight away, with Whincup through.

Wall says Ingall had a dive bomb. Second moment for those two in as many days.

L34 Whincup sets fastest time, 56.6676 on L33. Fastest race lap of the weekend.

L36 Mostert up the inside of McLaughlin for 10th.

Five laps to go - top 10 is Whincup, Lowndes, Bright, Davison, Reynolds, Van Gisbergen, Coulthard, Tander, Moffat, Mostert.

L38 and Blanchard goes around just after the last corner. Contact with Alex Davison before the spin, though Davison was a long way up the inside.

L39 and Whincup's lead is over one second.

L41 Whincup looking strong.

Clean sweep for Whincup at Barbagallo. Ahead of Lowndes, Bright, Will Davison, Reynolds, Van Gisbergen, Coulthard, Moffat, Tander, Mostert.

Winterbottom 12, McLaughlin 13, Holdsworth 14, local Fiore 15, Courtney 17.
