Goddard and Kostecki's fun day out

Jake Kostecki has shared some funny behind-the-scenes photos of his teammate Zane Goddard, showing the pair enjoying a lively day of filming.

Joined by Supercars.com reporter Chad Neylon, Kostecki and Goddard went for a drive on the local streets of the Gold Coast, around the Matt Stone Racing workshop.

Proving the rookies have a great friendship both on and off-track, the young drivers enjoyed some laughs on the road.

Sharing the photos to his social media account, Kostecki wrote: “@zanegoddard when I drive @chadneylon.”

The photo shows Goddard wearing multiple seat belts in the back seat of a car, with Kostecki sitting in the driver’s seat.

The duo then moved on to some entertaining games to see how well they know each other, with the #35 driver creating an interesting portrait of his teammate on a whiteboard.

With the vision set to be released after the OTR SuperSprint, fans of the young duo will have to make do with the sneak peeks for now.

Goddard heads to Tailem Bend 18th in the standings, following a career-best fourth in qualifying in Tasmania last month.

Kostecki sits one place behind in the points, 18 points adrift of his teammate.

The Repco Supercars Championship field will return to The Bend Motorsport Park this weekend for the OTR SuperSprint across May 7-9. Tickets are on sale now.

The event will be broadcast live on Foxtel and will be streamed on Kayo with highlights on 7 and 7 Plus.
