Fast Five at Five: With Scott McLaughlin

Making time between testing his Volvo, star young gun Scott McLaughlin spoke to v8supercars.com.au about what he's like away from the track.

What's on your bucket list that isn't related to motorsport?

"My bucket list - as much as I hate heights with a passion and I'm scared of it, I think skydiving would be a pretty awesome thing. I'd probably get to the point where I'd get up there in a plane and be absolutely scared out of my brain, but as long as I do it, I'll be happy one day. Whether that means I'll do it when I'm 70, or 22 next year, I don't know, but it'd be pretty fun."

You were recently overseas - what's the last sporting event/concert/gig you've been to as a fan?

"In America, the last thing I went to was a rodeo, which was pretty fun! It was very different, I was out of place for sure."

Do you have a go to karaoke song?"It'd have to be Hotel California, The Eagles. Talk to Lee Holdsworth about that too, because I sung that at my 21st!"

"I'm on an apprentice wage, let's just say that!"
