Weeks after riding his jetski from mainland Australia to Tasmania, Todd Kelly will adopt Boatsales backing to his #7 Nissan Altima in Townsville.

The veteran driver has run a number of different looks this year to show off the Carsales network.

Kelly, who is the highest place Nissan driver in the points standings with two top 10 points finishes to his name, raced under Boatsales colours last year.

"It’s great to have boatsales back on the car this year," said Kelly.

"I love the look of the boatsales livery. The black and yellow looks really mean, and I can’t wait to see it roll out of the truck.

"We’ve changed the livery a few times already this year, between carsales, bikesales and trucksales, so I’m usually needing to do a double-take to make sure I’m getting in the right car."

Kelly has listed the three jetskis ridden to Tasmania and back for purchase on Boatsales.

"What’s great is that now after finishing our Bass Strait adventure, we’re looking for a good home for our three jet skis. So we’ve put them up for sale on boatsales," he added.

"Once we finished the trip and raised money for MS, it was a case of mission accomplished.

"There’s a fair amount of work that’s gone into the skis to get them ocean-going, so it’d be great to find another trio who can enjoy them."

After Rick Kelly's pole position at Hidden Valley, Kelly hopes the Altima package can continue to improve at Townsville.

“We had a car on pole last round, so it proved we can extract the one lap speed from the car," he said.

"Now we just need to get more consistent pace out of it.

"The Townsville track is a lot of fun and really challenging.

"The event is also always really well supported, so the whole team looks forward to escaping winter down here."

Nissan has also revealed a brand-new vehicle for its 'Nissan Best Seats VIP Tour' at the Townsville event, replacing its popular stretched Cube.

The Best Seats in the House activation gives fans the chance to view the action from a VIP trackside platform, with the vehicle transporting fans from various vantage points at the circuit.

At the Reid Park street circuit this weekend, the Nissan Best Seats in the House activation is located between Turn 6 and 7.

To gain access to the VIP platform and the Nissan Best Seats VIP Tour, fans simply need to prove they are a Nissan owner or fan by wearing their Nissan merchandise, or showing their Nissan car key.
