ARMOR ALL has today announced it is extending its deal with the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship for a 14th consecutive season.

Today’s announcement means Spectrum Brands’ leading car care brand, ARMOR ALL, will continue as the 2018 major partner of the Supercars Pole Position Award.

ARMOR ALL has awarded more than $1 million in prize money to the top qualifiers through ARMOR ALL Qualifying, the ARMOR ALL Pole Position Award and the ARMOR ALL Top 10 Shootout at every Supercars Championship event since March 2005.

The brand will continue as the Official Car Care Products Sponsor and Naming Rights Sponsor of ARMOR ALL Qualifying and Pole Award for both the Supercars Championship and Dunlop Super2 Series.

Paul Blair, General Manager, Spectrum Brands, Global Auto Care Division, Asia Pacific, said everyone involved with ARMOR ALL was excited to once again be closely aligned with the region’s leading motorsport category.

“ARMOR ALL stands for high quality and performance, just like the Supercars Championship,” Mr Blair, pictured with Supercars CEO James Warburton, said.

“ARMOR ALL and Spectrum Brands have a long and proud history in motorsport across the globe and the Supercars ARMOR ALL Pole Award is one of the most instantly recognisable sponsorships.”

“ARMOR ALL has been a wonderful partner of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship for 14 years, one of our longest and most valuable partnerships,” Mr. Braid said.

“The ARMOR ALL Pole Award is a valuable part of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship and something the teams and drivers really cherish and we are delighted to have the ARMOR ALL® team on board for 2018.”

Overall, 28 drivers have accepted a Pole Position cheque from the ARMOR ALL® team in pitlane.

Scott McLaughlin has dominated ARMOR ALL Qualifying in 2017 and already wrapped up the year’s ARMOR ALL Pole Champion Award.

McLaughlin has already taken 13 ARMOR ALL Pole Positions this year, including an incredible seven in a row when he claimed the ARMOR ALL Pole Champion Award for 2017.

“ARMOR ALL has been providing high-quality car care products to Australians for over 40 years. Our complete range of products helps keep your car looking like new.”
