When the racing ends the rock starts

Once the racing finishes the rock starts, and it's all covered in your Coates Hire Newcastle 500 event ticket.

Legendary Australian rock band, Cold Chisel will headline the inaugural Coates Hire Newcastle 500 on Saturday, 25th November. Spiderbait, who recently celebrated their 25th anniversary with sell out shows around the country, have also been confirmed to take the stage on Saturday night at the inaugural event.

On Friday 24th November, it's an all-female show with Supercars Ambassador Delta Goodrem and chart topping twins The Veronicas set to perform.

Concert Access & Wristbands

Due to the size of the Coates Hire Newcastle 500 precinct, the concert zone has limited capacity. This means, for safety purposes, the amount of people in the concert zone will be limited.

To access the concert you must collect a concert zone wristband from one of the four information booths located throughout the event precinct. Wristbands can only be collected on the day for that night's performance.

The Saturday night concert zone is at capacity. Holders of Saturday tickets purchased before November 10, 2017 will be eligible to collect a Saturday Concert Zone wristband. You must present your physical ticket at the information booth (Click for map) to receive your wrist band.

Those who purchased on or after November 10, 2017 will not gain access to the concert zone for the Saturday night performances.

The Friday night concert is not yet at capacity however wristbands will still need to be collected from the information booths (Click for map) on the Friday of the event to ensure concert access.
