The Harvey Norman Supercars Forza Challenge takes place over two stages,
Qualification Stage - OnlineThe qualification stage was held from September 8 - 17 to identify eight of Australia's fastest gamers. Using Forza Motorsport 6 budding gamers cut laps around the Mount Panorama circuit in search of the fastest single lap time. The eight fastest players were found and now make their way to Bathurst for the challenge finals.
Challenge Finals - Bathurst
The successful qualifiers head to Bathurst to compete in a number of races across the weekend to determine who will be the Harvey Norman Supercars Forza Challenge Champion.
The challenge finals will be held across a ten race series starting on Thursday 5th October at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. A championship style points tally will be held across the first nine races. The points standings after the ninth race determining the grid order for the tenth and final race where it will be winner takes all.
The final will be broadcast live on Supercars.com from 7.30pm AEDT on Saturday 7th October.
In addition to the final series a stand alone all-stars featuring drivers from the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship will be held on Wednesday 4th October.
Across the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 weekend gamers will compete in a series of races, earning points which will determine their place on the grid for Saturday night's final.
Victorian Jacob Harvey won the inaugural Harvey Norman Supercars Forza Challenge, prevailing in a thrilling battle with John Burrows in the Grand Final at Mount Panorama.
