A five-time Commodore Cup national series champion (2002-2005, 2007), Geoff Emery is lining up for his sixth full season in the Dunlop Series.

He initially moved into the series in 2006 as team-mate to Nathan Pretty at Smiths Trucks Racing, but found things difficult and results hard to come by.

Emery made a one-off appearance in the series finale at Phillip Island in 2007 and teamed up with Tony Bates to form TAG Motorsport for 2008 driving a pair of ex-HRT Commodores.

In 2010 he switched to running his car from the Greg Murphy Racing workshop and eventually moved into a newer model VE Commodore, the same car he will drive again this season.

Built new in 2008, it was driven by Greg Murphy for that season and throughout 2009, including when Murphy and Mark Skaife drove it to fourth place at Bathurst.

In 2010 it was driven by Daniel Jilesen at Winton and Emery at Townsville before Emery was joined by Marcus Zukanovic in the car for the Phillip Island and Bathurst V8 SupercarsChampionship endurance races.
