Accomplished V8 Utes and Karting star Adam Marjoram made the switch to the V8 Supercars Dunlop Super2 Series in 2016.

Marjoram – who was born and bred in Perth – entered the category with Queensland-based squad Matt Stone Racing this season off the back of a fourth place finish in the V8 Utes Championship in 2015.

The rising star commenced his career at the age of seven in karts, and in nine years had amassed three state championships, eight WA titles and a host of other series and individual wins.

This included an outstanding year in 2008 where he was almost undefeated for the entire season.

After stints in saloon cars and the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge, Marjoram entered the V8 Utes Series in 2013.

An outstanding rookie season in the V8 Utes caught the attention of Erebus Motorsport V8 team owner Betty Klimenko, who enlisted the young star into the team’s Erebus Academy, with Marjoram ultimately achieving a 4th place finish in the V8 Utes Championship in 2015.

After a very promising rookie season in an older spec SBR built Ford chassis, Marjoram has signed on for a second season with Matt Stone Racing and will be stepping into the ex-Shane Van Gisbergen Tekno Triple 888 built and supported Holden Commodore COTF for the 2017 Dunlop Super2 Series.

Coupled with his motorsport pursuits, Marjoram is completing a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics with five majors at the University of Western Australia.
