Police: Suspect tries to hit Lauderhill officer with car (Miami Herald)

Authorities in Broward say an undercover sheriff's detective fired on a suspect they say tried to run him over with a car. The Broward County Sheriff's Office says the detective sold Adrien Moore drugs on Friday night in Lauderhill, about 30 miles north of Miami.
