Driver injured after car collides with pole off Elgin-O'Hare Expressway (Chicago Tribune)

A car slammed into a pole off the Elgin-O'Hare Expressway near Roselle during rush hour Friday afternoon, state police said, and the road was closed while a helicopter picked up the injured driver.
